It started as a simple goal to help fill the gap in spay/neuter services triggered by the pandemic, but it has become so much more. In seeking new channels to fix 500 pets, above and beyond our normal operations, we found dedicated animal advocates running mobile surgical units in several key areas of need.
Partnering with them to sponsor spay/neuter events has proven to be an efficient and cost effective way to increase the number of pets we can help. With our financial assistance, they were able to add service days, and we were able to help more pet families in need.
January and February 2022 we partnered with Daisy’s Hope to provide free spay/neuter clinic days to pet families in need in San Bernardino. All appointments were filled within hours of announcing each event.
These free dog and cat clinics followed our three low cost cat clinics with the Spay Neuter Action Project in San Diego. Stay tuned for future partnership events.
